Job summary

BODYBAR Pilates is seeking passionate Pilates instructors to lead engaging, form-focused classes that build strength, confidence, and community.

Availability to teach early morning and/or midday classes, with openings between 6:30 AM and 2:00 PM, is preferred. Instructors cue, motivate, and create an experience that keeps members returning for more.

Qualifications

• Passion for health, fitness, and helping others feel strong.
• Excellent communication and people skills suitable for teaching.
• Pilates or group fitness experience is preferred but not required.
• Complete BODYBAR Pilates Instructor Training Program including apparatus test-out.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and demonstrate knowledge of BODYBAR’s method, mission, and goals.
• Design and instruct Pilates-based group classes that are safe and effective for all levels.
• Educate participants on proper exercise form to ensure safety and results.
• Secure substitutes for all assigned classes in a timely manner.
• Create a welcoming studio community through engagement with members before, during, and after class.

BODYBAR Pilates is a boutique fitness franchise with studios across the country, all teaching our signature BODYBAR method.

BODYBAR Pilates South Lamar is locally owned and operated, and we care deeply about creating a studio where clients feel welcomed, challenged, and part of a community.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for passionate Pilates instructors who love teaching and connecting with people. Availability to teach early morning and/or midday classes, with availability between 6:30 AM and 2:00 PM.

As a BODYBAR Instructor, you'll lead engaging, form-focused classes that help clients build strength, confidence, and community. You'll cue, motivate, encourage, and create an experience that keeps members coming back.

We're looking for instructors who are knowledgeable, positive, reliable, professional, and passionate about helping clients feel strong and successful.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of BODYBAR’s method, mission, vision, and goals
• Design and instruct Pilates-based group fitness classes, according to the BODYBAR teaching formula, that are safe and effective for clients of all fitness levels
• Educate participants on proper and safe exercise form
• All teachers are responsible for securing subs for all assigned classes in a timely manner. Any classes not subbed remain the responsibility of the teacher
• Create community at the studio through engagement with members before, during, and after class

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• Passion for health, fitness, and helping others feel strong
• Strong communication and people skills
• Pilates or group fitness experience (preferred, not required)
• Complete the Comprehensive BODYBAR Pilates Instructor Training Program, including passing each apparatus test-out

Compensation $30-$50 per class depending on experience
