Job summary

BODYBAR Pilates South Lamar in Austin, TX is seeking a Part-Time Lead Instructor to join our boutique studio. You will teach 4–6 Reformer Pilates classes weekly, lead by example, support fellow instructors, and help create a welcoming member experience.

Compensation includes teaching $30–$45 per class and $22 per hour for administrative and leadership tasks, with training in Fort Worth, Texas, January 25–29, 2027. Flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching group fitness; Reformer Pilates experience is a plus.
• Strong communication, organizational, leadership skills.
• Passion for member relationships and community building.
• Willingness to complete instructor training and certification.

Responsibilities

• Teach approximately 4–6 classes per week.
• Deliver engaging, safe classes reflecting BODYBAR standards.
• Help create community in the studio through member engagement.
• Assist with class coverage and studio readiness.
• Keep equipment and training records organized; identify maintenance needs.
• Collaborate with leadership on schedules and instructor assignments.
• Support community events, local partnerships, and member engagement activities.
• Assist with social media content and posts.
• Communicate proactively with leadership.
