The County of San Diego Health and Human Services Agency is seeking a Recreation Therapy Supervisor to lead therapeutic recreation programs in a behavioral health setting. You will plan and coordinate services, lead activities, and supervise therapists and aides to ensure high-quality patient care.

Ideal candidates have leadership experience in behavioral health, a Recreation Therapist certification, a bachelor’s degree in Recreation, and at least three years of full-time relevant experience;

Formación

• Certification as a Recreation Therapist with CBRTC or NCTRC per CA Title 22.
• Bachelor’s degree in Recreation with specialization in Recreation Therapy.
• Three (3) years of full-time experience in a mental health program; supervisory experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and coordinate therapeutic recreation services.
• Lead activities; supervise Therapists and Aides.
• Ensure compliance with Federal and State regulations; promote safety and quality patient care.
