Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years of experience performing files maintenance in a centralized records facility.
• Experience leading/mentoring Records Technician I staff is a plus.
• Ability to process and manage physical and digital records in compliance with retention laws.

Responsibilities

• Leads staff in receipt, organization and maintenance of Sheriff’s Department records including reports, photos, videos, and audio recordings.
• Directs Records Technician I staff and participates in performance evaluations.
• Processes videos from body cameras and redacts sensitive information to protect privacy.
• Handles information requests from law enforcement, justice departments, media, and public.
