Job summary

Mercury is building a reconciliation platform to ensure accurate, auditable money movement across its fintech stack. In this role you will lead the evolution of reconciliation, partnering with Product, Engineering, Finance, Operations, and Accounting to automate workflows and strengthen controls.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product management experience on technical platforms or data products.
• Strong systems thinking and durable platform solutions.
• Proven track record of driving ambiguous work from problem to delivery.
• Excellent cross-functional partnership and prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

• Own vision, strategy, and roadmap for Mercury’s reconciliation platform.
• Collaborate with engineers to understand data flows, schemas, transformations and failure modes.
• Define priorities with product, accounting, finance, and operations.
• Evolve platform for long-term scale and cross-team tooling.
• Build tools to identify discrepancies, diagnose causes, and report accurately.
• Balance immediate needs with long-term platform leverage.
• Develop deep understanding of Mercury’s money movement and accounting to guide tradeoffs.
