Job summary

Mercury is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the reconciliation platform. This role can be based in San Francisco, New York, Portland, or remotely within the US/Canada, and will own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Mercury’s core reconciliation capabilities.

You’ll partner with Engineering, Finance, and Operations to automate workflows, strengthen controls, and deliver auditable, scalable solutions that support growth while preserving financial integrity.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product management experience focusing on technical platforms, data products, or complex systems.
• Strong systems thinking with emphasis on reusable platform primitives.
• Proven ability to drive ambiguous work from problem definition to delivery.

Responsibilities

• Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Mercury’s reconciliation platform, including work to support the bank charter.
• Partner with engineers to map data flows, schemas, transformations, dependencies, and failure modes.
• Collaborate with Product, Accounting, Finance, and Reconciliation Operations to set priorities and deliverables.
• Scale the platform to enable cross-functional teams with unified reconciliation tooling.
• Build tools to identify discrepancies, root causes, resolution, and reporting.
