Job summary

PJ Dick-Trumbull-The Lindy Group seeks an experienced Rebar Foreman to lead reinforcement steel installation on highway and heavy civil projects. You will supervise crews, review plans, and ensure work meets specifications, quality, and safety standards.

Work closely with superintendents, project managers, and inspectors to coordinate daily activities, manage resources, and drive on-time project completion.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with lead or foreman experience.
• Strong knowledge of rebar placement methods and plans.
• OSHA safety requirements and standard site practices.
• Ability to read plans, bar lists, and shop drawings.
• Proven leadership and ability to coordinate crews and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Supervise rebar crews for layout, cutting, bending, tying, and securing reinforcing steel.
• Read blueprints, bar schedules, and contract documents to ensure accurate installation.
• Plan daily activities, coordinate manpower, equipment, and deliveries.
• Maintain quality, safety, and production goals; inspect work and address deficiencies.
• Lead pre-task planning, toolbox talks, and daily crew briefings with focus on safety.
