Taboola is hiring a Team Leader for the Bidding Strategies Algo team in our TLV Office. You will lead the optimization of existing bidding strategies and design new ones, formulating bidding problems mathematically and applying control theory to real-time auctions at scale.

You will guide engineers, translate theory into production solutions, and influence advertiser ROI across thousands of advertisers. A strong quantitative background and leadership experience are essential for driving

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a quantitative field (MSc/PhD).
• Strong algorithmic problem-solving experience (6+ years) and leadership exposure.
• Production-grade algorithm engineering experience.
• Experience driving measurable business impact through algorithmic improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the optimization of Taboola's bidding strategies.
• Design and deliver new bidding strategies end-to-end into production.
• Drive deep analysis of complex dynamics and closed-loop effects.
• Partner with engineering to deliver robust, scalable systems.
• Lead and develop algorithm engineers.
