Job summary

Titan America Florida’s Ready-Mix Concrete Plant in Longwood seeks a Plant Supervisor to oversee daily operations, maintenance, production, inventory control, safety, and environmental compliance. The role reports to the Operations Supervisor and includes supervision of plant staff and adherence to company policies.

The candidate should have extensive ready-mix concrete experience, strong math/computer skills, and the ability to obtain required certifications within the first 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of Ready Mix Concrete experience.
• Prior experience in concrete plant management preferred.
• ACI Level I Field Testing Technician and FDOT Concrete Batch Plant Operator Certifications within 90 days of hire.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure products meet quality and service expectations.
• Ensure adequate inventories to meet customer needs.
• Maintain a safe workplace per OSHA guidelines.
• Schedule material deliveries according to Dispatch information.
• Ensure deliveries are prompt, safe, and efficient.
• Ensure environmental compliance with standards.
• Maintain plant in excellent condition, mechanically and esthetically.
• Prepare and ensure accuracy of daily paperwork; handle cash sales as needed.
• Ensure employees work efficiently and in line with policies.
• Maintain good relationships with coworkers and outside agencies.
• Manage disciplinary procedures for drivers and operators assigned to plant.
