Quikrete Heavy Construction Materials in High Springs, FL is seeking a Plant Supervisor to oversee ready-mix concrete plant operations, ensuring equipment efficiency, materials quality, and on-time deliveries. You will coordinate daily production, supervise staff, and uphold safety standards while meeting client needs.

The role requires hands-on leadership, knowledge of concrete operations, and familiarity with DOT/OSHA/EPA regulations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience with concrete and related products.
• 1 year maintenance and supervisory experience preferred.
• Current driver’s license; CDL preferred.
• Familiarity with DOT, OSHA, EPA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety efforts, including meetings and enforcing proper equipment use.
• Ensure batching accuracy and monitor material quality.
• Coordinate operations with Area Operations Manager.
• Supervise plant staff and support hiring and performance management.
• Maintain accurate payroll/timekeeping records.
• Monitor delivery timing and coordinate with mixer operators for on-time service.
• Oversee equipment inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Ensure plant operates at target capacity.
• Maintain plant cleanliness and organization.
