Job summary

Knife River - PressTress, Inc. is seeking an experienced Ready-Mix Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day performance of multiple plants and fleet operations in Metro and Willamette Valley.

You will lead plant managers, dispatchers, drivers, and production teams while ensuring safe, efficient, and profitable operations. The role requires a hands-on leader who balances operational demands with employee development, customer expectations, regulatory compliance, and financial performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership experience in ready-mix concrete, aggregates, construction materials, or related heavy industrial operations.
• Proven ability to lead multiple facilities, plants, or operational teams.
• Strong knowledge of ready-mix production, dispatch, fleet management, maintenance practices, and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for ready-mix production, fleet operations, and plant performance.
• Ensure facilities operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with standards and regulations.
• Monitor production schedules, capacity, dispatch, and delivery performance to meet customer expectations.
• Partner with sales and operations to align production with market demand and project requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce costs, and enhance performance.
