Job summary

Acorn Health is seeking a Lead Registered Behavior Technician to mentor fellow technicians and help design training for new hires. You will maintain a client caseload and provide direct ABA therapy under BCBA supervision, ensuring high-quality care and accurate data collection.

Responsibilities include coordinating mentee development, conducting meetings with supervisors, and supporting staff with paperwork and RBT certification tasks while maintaining HIPAA and ethics compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred.
• RBT certification in good standing with BACB.
• Enrolled in coursework to become BCaBA or BCBA preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in ABA.

Responsibilities

• Lead mentoring for behavior technicians (mentees).
• Coordinate training and onboarding for new hires.
• Meet bi-weekly with BCBA Supervisors to discuss mentee needs.
• Provide direct therapy to clients as directed.
• Assist with paperwork and RBT application processes.
• Deliver services in center, home, school, or other clinically indicated locations.
• Maintain accurate data collection and daily paperwork.
