Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Pasadena, CA is hiring a Restorative Behavior Technician (RBT) to lead direct care in an Adult Residential Facility. You will support residents with daily living activities, implement IPPs, and supervise shift staff.

This role requires ARF certification and 1–2 years in residential care, with knowledge of Title 17/22. CPI/Pro-ACT or CPR certifications are preferred. Compensation is $23.00–$26.00 per hour, plus benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain ARF certification during employment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; higher degrees preferred.
• 1–2 years experience in residential care; high-acuity or Level 6/7 setting preferred.
• Knowledge of Title 17 and Title 22 regulations (preferred); required certifications such as First Aid/CPR and CPI/Pro-ACT.

Responsibilities

• Provide ADL support including personal care, hygiene, and mobility.
• Implement IPPs and behavior intervention plans.
• Support residents with complex needs in a structured, therapeutic environment.
• Utilize de-escalation and crisis intervention techniques.
• Act as shift lead, supervising direct support staff.
• Ensure continuity of care via shift-to-shift communication.
• Document behaviors, interventions, and outcomes; ensure audit-ready records.
• Assist with training and mentoring of staff.
• Monitor residents' well-being and maintain a safe home environment.
• Respond to emergencies per established protocols.
