Job summary

ABA Centers of Rhode Island is seeking a Lead Registered Behavior Technician (Lead RBT) in Providence, RI. This full-time role offers a clear leadership path, paid training, and ongoing career support within a growing ABA practice.

The position requires an active BACB RBT certification, 3+ years of experience with children/ABA therapy, and availability for after-hours, weekends, and holidays. Compensation ranges from $55,000 to $65,000 per year, with final pay based on experience and education.

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification through the BACB board.
• 3+ years of experience with children/ABA therapy (preferred).
• 2-year degree or higher (preferred).
• Available during after-hours, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and clean background/drug screenings.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the day-to-day schedule of the clinic and maximize clinic productivity with RBT Supervisor and Director of Operations.
• Ensure RBTs have time to complete billing and administrative duties.
• Assist with data collection and completion.
• Mentor RBTs and support learners.
• Cover for callouts to minimize missed services.
• Maintain client and staff safety as an extra support person for the clinic.
• Use discrete trial teaching procedures and pivotal response treatment strategies.
• Teach and generalize skills in natural environments.
