Job summary

Adare Pharma Solutions is seeking a Manager, Raw Materials and Microbiology in Vandalia, Ohio. This leadership role will oversee daily laboratory activities, coach Raw Material Chemists and Microbiologists, and prioritize tasks to meet project timelines within the Site Quality team.

You will develop training, manage budgets, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance while driving investigations and improvements across materials and microbiology operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Analytical Chemistry or related field is required.
• 8+ years in the Pharmaceutical industry with at least 5 years in quality roles.
• Experience directly managing teams.
• Hands-on testing: wet chemistry, HPLC, GC, UV, titrations.
• Ability to evaluate results from HPLC, GC, UV, IR and wet chemistry in a pharma lab.
• Knowledge of USP, EP, JP procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation of personnel and equipment in the laboratory.
• Create training curriculums for staff.
• Lead investigations and deviations; manage OOS/OOT results.
• Develop short and long-term strategic plans for the group.
