Job summary

Adare Pharma Solutions in Vandalia, Ohio, is seeking a Manager, Raw Materials and Microbiology to lead the Site Quality team's daily operations, coach chemists and microbiologists, and ensure timely project delivery and compliance.

You will manage personnel, equipment, budgeting, audits, and cross-functional interfaces, driving continuous improvement and safe, compliant laboratory testing for GMP environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Analytical Chemistry or related field.
• 8+ years in the pharmaceutical industry, with at least 5 years in quality.
• Experience directly managing teams.
• Hands-on testing in wet chemistry, HPLC, GC, UV and titrations.
• Ability to evaluate results from HPLC, GC, UV and wet chemistry in a pharma lab.
• Understanding of USP/EP/JP procedures and aseptic technique.
• Experience reviewing laboratory documentation and audits.

Responsibilities

• Oversee personnel and equipment operation in the laboratory, including scheduling and calibration.
• Develop training curricula for staff and mentor team members.
• Guide investigations and deviations, including OOS/OOT results.
• Develop short and long-term strategic plans and budgets.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and GMP policies.
• Perform performance appraisals and support career development.
• Participate in customer and regulatory audits and supplier interfaces.
• Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain and Regulatory Affairs to resolve issues.
