Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience establishing and managing data partnerships, with a focus on rare disease, healthcare data, data governance, or related roles.
• Experience with data vendors, data providers, healthcare data platforms, or analytics organizations is strongly preferred.
• Deep understanding of rare disease data assets, including sourcing, patient identification, coverage, refresh cadence, linkage, quality considerations, and fit-for-purpose use cases.
• Expert understanding of data partnership principles, frameworks, and best practices, with ability to forge strategic collaborations with external data providers and vendors.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to healthcare data privacy, security, quality, compliance, and appropriate use of rare disease data.

Responsibilities

• Implement the organization’s rare disease data partnership strategy across US commercial brands and priority use cases.
• Establish and manage strategic data partnerships with external data providers, platforms, and vendors to maximize data asset value.
• Guide partnership decisions with deep understanding of rare disease data sources and data quality considerations.
• Monitor adherence to data quality, privacy, security, and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with data vendors, stakeholders, analytics teams, and cross-functional teams to address data quality issues.
• Implement oversight mechanisms for data partnerships and ensure governance and compliance.
