Job summary

Novartis Group of Companies is seeking a senior data partnerships leader for rare disease data initiatives. This role is remote across the United States with up to 20% travel, reporting to senior leadership, and guiding external data partnerships and governance.

You will establish collaborations with data providers, vendors, and healthcare platforms, ensuring data quality, privacy, and regulatory compliance while delivering actionable insights to internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum 6 years of experience establishing and managing data partnerships, with a focus on rare disease and healthcare data.
Experience with data vendors, data providers, healthcare data platforms, or analytics organizations is preferred.

Responsibilities

Implement the organization's rare disease data partnership strategy with key data use cases across US brands.
Establish and manage strategic partnerships with external data providers, platforms, and vendors.
Guide decisions on data sources, coverage, refresh cadence, and fit-for-purpose use cases.
Monitor data quality, security, privacy, and compliance with regulatory standards.
Collaborate with vendors, analytics teams, and cross-functional rare disease teams to resolve data quality issues.
Oversee data partnerships, governance, and data-sharing agreements.
Implement data stewardship practices across platforms and vendors.
Track partnerships and spend, provide governance reporting to leadership.
Work with stakeholders to identify data needs and extract actionable insights.
