Job summary

Worldwide Flight Services is seeking a Lead Ramp Agent in the Houston area to oversee ramp operations, supervise ramp agents, and ensure safe, efficient handling of cargo and luggage for on-time flights.

The role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Compensation is $22.50 per hour, with union TWU coverage and opportunities for overtime and advancement.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma, GED or Equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid US driver's license.
• Ability to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Fluent in reading, writing, speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and support ramp agents in daily operations.
• Train and demonstrate proper work and safety procedures.
• Assign and schedule work tasks to maintain efficiency.
• Monitor and analyze work methods and outcomes.
• Identify and report operational issues to management.
• Assist in the effective use of tools, equipment, and materials.
• Ensure compliance with site security procedures.
• Report security breaches, suspicious activity, or policy violations.
