Job summary

Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson, Inc. is seeking an experienced Inspector to apply standard inspection procedures during construction for structural quality, safety, and conformance to plans and codes. The role requires strong field testing, documentation, and coordination with project teams across phases.

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years of experience as a civil, mechanical, structural, roofing, and general contracting inspector.
• Experience interpreting plans and specifications to ensure compliance.
• Strong field inspection, testing, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Review plans, site layouts, and specs to ensure compliance with codes and safety requirements.
• Perform routine tests on concrete, soils, and other materials.
• Measure dimensions and verify elevations and alignment of structures per plans.
• Coordinate and supervise inspection activities across project phases.
• Lead and develop inspection staff and communicate with stakeholders.
