Job summary

Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, IL seeks a Radiology Technologist to operate advanced imaging equipment, assist radiologists in fluoroscopy, and maintain patient safety and equipment readiness. The role includes supervising duties on occasion and training new staff.

The ideal candidate has ARRT registration or eligibility, CPR certification, and a strong background in RIS and digital imaging. Evening shift, full-time schedule, with rotating weekends and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology.
• Certificate or Assoc. Degree in Radiology Technology.
• 3 years radiographer experience or 1 year at ALGH as radiographer.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment to produce radiographs per physician orders.
• Assist radiologists with fluoroscopic procedures including GI and mini special exams.
• Schedule and prepare rooms and maintain equipment and supplies for Fluoroscopy.
• Troubleshoot CR/DR equipment and submit service requests as needed.
• Operate portable radiographic equipment and C-arms in OR and ICU settings.
• Maintain patient safety and adherence to radiation safety procedures.
