Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology.
• Certificate or Assoc. Degree in Radiology Technology.
• ARRT Registered or registry eligible.

Responsibilities

• Operates x-ray equipment to produce radiographs as prescribed.
• Maneuvers portable radiographic equipment in patient care areas and surgery.
• Assists radiologists in fluoroscopic examinations.
• Performs radiographic procedures in surgery and trauma cases.
• Maintains RIS/HIS computer functions and labels radiographs accurately.
• Adheres to radiation safety and isolation techniques.
• Maintains equipment cleanliness and inventory of supplies.
• Attends CPR classes and maintains current CPR certification.
