Job summary

PAGNY is expanding its Radiology leadership at NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health in Brooklyn, NY. The Lead Radiologic Technologist will supervise radiology services, participate in training, and perform advanced procedures as needed.

Requirements include an NYSDOH Radiologic Technologist license, at least two years of radiologic experience with supervisory duties, and Assignment Level IV. This 1199 union position offers comprehensive benefits and growth within a large municipal health

Qualifications

Valid license and current Radiologic Technologist registration issued by the NYSDOH.
Two years of Radiologic Technologist experience performing duties consistent with lower Assignment Levels, one year in a supervisory capacity.
Assignment Level IV.

Responsibilities

Supervises the delivery of radiological services, in accordance with established standards and procedures.
Recommends changes and improvements relating to the delivery of radiological services.
Participates in training programs for radiographic personnel and allied health staff.
May perform radiologic procedures as required.
Performs special procedures including CT, MRI, and Mammography.
Participates in quality assurance activities and equipment maintenance.
Coordinates procurement and storage of supplies and equipment.
