Qualifikationen

• Valid license and current registration to practice Diagnostic Radiography as a Radiologic Technologist issued by the NYSDOH.
• Two years of Radiologic Technologist experience; one year in a supervisory capacity.
• For Specialized Imaging Assignments: advanced-level certification in diagnostic procedures (CT, MRI, or Mammography).
• Knowledge of radiology procedures and safe radiation practices.

Aufgaben

• Operate x-ray equipment, develop images, and prepare radiological areas and supplies.
• Provide day-to-day supervision of radiology staff and coordinate workflow within the department.
• Assist radiologists and other clinicians in a variety of imaging procedures, including specialized and interventional radiography.
• Maintain EMR documentation and ensure adherence to radiation safety protocols.
