Job summary

California Correctional Health Care Services (CCHCS) seeks a Senior Radiologic Technologist, CF (Specialist) for Folsom State Prison in Represa, CA (Sacramento County). Reporting under the Chief Medical Executive, you will perform the most complex radiologic procedures and provide lead direction to Radiologic Technologists and inmate workers.

You will uphold safety, ensure image quality, and collaborate with clinical staff to support the prison’s health care mission.

Qualifications

• Current valid California Radiologic Technologist certification required; must have before appointment.
• Experience options: 1 year in state service as Radiologic Technologist.
• 3 years radiologic experience under accredited radiologist, with substitution possible if trained as graduate nurse.
• 1 year experience and 2-year AMA/ACR‑approved radiologic technology training accepted.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced radiologic procedures and provide lead direction to radiologic staff and inmate workers.
• Maintain order and safety of persons and property while conducting radiologic work.
• Ensure imaging quality and collaborate with clinical staff under clinical direction.
