Job summary

Day Wireless Systems in Portland, OR is seeking a field technician to support radio and wireless system design, installation, and maintenance. You will perform hands-on troubleshooting, diagnostics, and system commissioning across Low Band, VHF/UHF, and microwave networks.

Requirements include 5+ years of hands-on installation experience in radio and communications, familiarity with test equipment, and a strong RF theory background.

Qualifications

• Hands-on installation experience in radio and communications equipment.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing radio systems.
• RF theory knowledge and ability to read schematics/drawings.

Responsibilities

• Repair and provide technical support for Low Band, VHF/UHF, and 800/900 MHz systems.
• Install, maintain, and repair base systems, repeaters, and antenna systems.
• Diagnose and repair PA systems, BDA/DAS systems, and other components.
• Train junior technicians and lead the team.
