Job summary

Day Management Corporation seeks a skilled Radio DAS Technician to troubleshoot and design BDA/DAS systems for radio and wireless communications. You will program, diagnose, and support a range of radio systems, using meters and analyzers while reading blueprints for accurate installations.

Responsibilities include installation and maintenance of base systems, antennas, microwave, solar power, and dispatch equipment; plus diagnosing PA and DAS components to ensure reliable operation.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in electronics and wireless system repair is required.
• 3 years of related work experience in electronic communications repair or equivalent.
• Knowledge of battery backup systems, base stations, repeaters, duplexers, and basic networking skills.
• Proficiency in computer operations, including Microsoft Office and radio programming software.

Responsibilities

• Program, troubleshoot, and diagnose radio systems; perform system diagnostics.
• Utilize industry-standard test equipment (service monitors/analyzers, watt meters, hand tools).
• Read blueprints and drawings to support installations and repairs.
• Repair and provide technical support for Low Band, VHF/UHF, and 800/900 MHz systems including paging and telemetry.
• Install, maintain, and repair base systems, repeaters, antennas, microwave and solar power systems.
• Install and maintain dispatch console equipment.
• Diagnose and repair PA systems, BDA/DAS systems and related components.
