Cumulus Media in Dallas seeks a Full-Time Chief Technical Board Operator/Producer for WBAP and KLIF. The ideal candidate has strong work ethic, is self-starting, reliable, and highly organized to collaborate with the program director and sales team as needed.

Responsibilities include running the broadcast console, editing audio, producing mid-day and afternoon shows, handling podcasts and social media, and occasionally supervising other operators.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years radio experience at college or smaller market level
• Knowledge of news and today’s hit stories
• Understanding of equipment in a radio control room incl. broadcast console and related digital audio systems
• Ability to think quickly and make good decisions in high pressure, fast-paced environments
• Excellent written and verbal communication; reliable, punctual, and flexible for weekends/overnights/holidays

Responsabilités

• Run the broadcast console to put content on air and ensure FCC requirements are met
• Ensure all commercial materials air as logged
• Audio editing, station or show production
• Produce Mid-day and afternoon show on WBAP
• Podcasting and station social media management
• Fill in on other shifts as needed
• Assist in supervising board operators
