Qualifications

• Associate degree or certificate in Radiation Therapy required.

• ARRT registration and IEMA license preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Ability to supervise and educate staff within the department.

Responsibilities

• Performs all Radiation Therapist duties as needed.
• Maintains safe, clean treatment environment for patients and staff.
• Localizes tumor volumes using radiographic techniques with physician guidance.
• Performs daily and weekly QA on treatment machines and CT simulator.
• Administers treatments per physician prescription and treatment plan.
• Maintains accurate treatment and billing records.
• Educates patients about treatments and potential side effects.
• Provides direction and orientation to staff therapists as needed.
• Coordinates with department leadership on policies, training and scheduling.
