Qualifications

• ARRT registered or eligible in Radiation Therapy.
• New York State Radiation Therapist License – current.
• BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Administer radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist.
• Maintain accurate daily treatment records and QA; supervise staff in absence of management.
• Instruct student radiation therapists and evaluate them after rotations.
• Mentor colleagues and collaborate with physicians, physicists, dosimetrists, nursing, and leadership.
• Ensure safety and accuracy of treatment documentation and chart rounds.

Education

ARRT Certification / NY State Radiologic Therapist License / BLS Certification
