Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Material Science, Mathematics or related field.
• 7+ years of relevant research experience.
• Proven ability to manage or contribute to a technical project to generate focused new ideas to solve critical new product and process problems.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery, development, and improvement of Gentex technology and related processes.
• Coordinate and manage cross-functional teams to evaluate identified technologies.
• Mentor and coach group members in research duties and performance.
• Document and analyze experimental data and prepare technical reports and analyses.
• Coordinate assembly and testing of new products and/or processes and support production launches.
