Coherent is seeking an experienced engineer to lead new device development from concept through production transfer. You will design and simulate epitaxial structures to meet performance targets, collaborating with epi, process integration, and QA teams.

The role requires deep knowledge of III-V devices, TCAD modeling, and RF/optical testing, with strong cross-functional collaboration and documentation to enable smooth transfer to manufacturing.

Formación

• MS with 5+ years in EE or related field; PhD preferred with 2+ years
• Deep knowledge of III-V devices, materials, physics, and testing
• Experience with NPI and PLM processes
• Cross-functional teamwork across functions, cultures, and personalities

Responsabilidades

• Lead new device development projects from concept to production transfer
• Design and simulate epitaxial structures for device performance targets
• Collaborate with process integration to define wafer fab flows
• Create test structures and layouts for device characterization and high-volume manufacturing
• Perform DC, RF, and optical testing and analyze data
• Define reliability requirements with quality teams and improve device performance
• Document design verification, corner studies, and test plans for transfer to manufacturing
• Work with device modeling to create models for simulation and new products
