Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Sr. Quantum Information Scientist in Lawton, OK to lead a team at the FISTA facility. You will supervise a technical group developing quantum-based communications and sensing demonstrations and collaborate with partners at OU.

The role requires a PhD in physics/optics/QIS with 4+ years of experience, US citizenship, and ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance. Onsite work in Lawton, OK with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• PhD in physics, optics, or QIS with 4+ years of related experience.
• Proficiency with experimental quantum systems for sensing or communications.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and participate in building and testing quantum-based communication and sensing systems.
• Manage collaborations with sub-contractor partners at the University of Oklahoma.
• Provide regular updates to the group lead in Huntsville, AL.
