Job summary

Leidos LLC in Lawton, OK seeks aQuantum Information Research Scientist to advance quantum-based communications and sensing systems within the INTEL Sector's CABA. The role includes supervising R&D activities and collaborating with subcontractors across multiple programs.

Candidates must hold a BS/MS/PhD in physics/optics/QIS or related field with 2+ years of experience and must be able to obtain TS/SCI clearance. Travel to DC and Huntsville may be required; US citizenship is required.

Qualifications

Must hold a BS, MS or PhD in physics, optics, quantum information science (QIS), or related engineering field with 2+ years of experience.
Must be able to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance.
US citizen and willing to travel within the US to Leidos facilities.

Responsibilities

Supervise and participate in building and testing quantum-based communications and sensing systems.
Collaborate with sub-contractor partners and internal teams on R&D and program development tasks.
Communicate complex technical material clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
