Intel is seeking a Quantum Error Correction Software Engineer to design and implement software for future fault-tolerant quantum computers. You will take technical ownership of software development, enabling efficiency and innovation across internal and external teams.

You will collaborate with quantum hardware and software groups to assess feasibility, drive advanced solutions, and explore performance trade-offs in quantum error correcting codes.

Qualifications

• PhD in Physics, CS or CE or related field.
• 1+ years of quantum error correction research and development.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement software for Intel quantum hardware constraints.
• Research and develop quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum computing.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to assess feasibility and drive solutions.
• Explore hardware/software trade-offs in quantum error correcting codes.
