Seer is seeking a Quantum Error Correction Specialist / Team Lead to drive the QEC roadmap in coordination with hardware milestones. You will supervise scientific work, benchmark performance, and help transition theory to hardware.

The role combines leadership with hands-on programming for data analysis and simulation in Python, emphasizing quantum information theory and experimental intuition. You will represent Seer in collaborations with external partners.

Qualifications

• PhD in Quantum Physics, Quantum Information, or equivalent.
• 5+ years in quantum error correction with leadership experience or desire to move into a leadership role.
• Strong programming for data analysis and simulation (Python).
• In-depth knowledge of quantum information theory and experimental physics.

Responsibilities

• Build and own the QEC roadmap aligned with hardware milestones.
• Supervise the team’s scientific work and benchmark QEC performance.
• Review QEC patent requests and contribute to grant proposals.
• Represent the company and collaborate with external partners.
• Recruit, supervise, and develop team members; monitor task schedules with project managers.
