Jabil Inc. seeks a Lead Quality Technician to oversee quality inspection activities, troubleshoot defects, and support the implementation of quality management systems to meet customer specifications and company standards.

You will lead a team of Quality Technicians, coordinate inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products, and drive corrective actions and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in a technical field preferred.
• At least 5 years in a manufacturing quality role with 2+ years in a lead/supervisory capacity.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems.
• Proficient with quality measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, CMM) and SPC.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead and supervise a team of Quality Technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
• Perform complex inspections and tests on incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products using various measurement tools and equipment.
• Identify, analyze, and troubleshoot quality defects, non-conformances, and process deviations, implementing effective corrective actions.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and other departments to resolve quality issues and improve manufacturing processes.
• Develop and implement quality control plans, inspection procedures, and work instructions.
• Conduct internal audits and support external audits to ensure compliance with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Collect and analyze quality data, generate reports, and present findings to management.
• Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., 8D, FMEA).
• Train and mentor junior Quality Technicians on best practices and quality standards.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all quality-related activities.
