Job summary

Critical Loop, Inc. in Torrance, CA seeks a Lead Quality Systems Engineer to build and sustain robust quality processes across the product lifecycle.

This hands-on role collaborates with manufacturing, testing and production teams to identify issues, implement solutions, and drive ongoing quality improvements. You will define the QMS, conduct internal audits, and lead CAPA activities while ensuring alignment with ISO 9001 and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering or STEM discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment as a Manufacturing Engineer, Test Engineer, Reliability Engineer, or Quality Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Perform and train QA for Electrical and Mechanical drawings prior to releasing internally and/or externally to suppliers and/or customers.
• Advise design, manufacturing, supply chain, and leadership teams on product quality and safety using domain knowledge.
• Partner with Product and Project engineering to create inspection plans for deployable systems.
• Identify largest quality issues and risks across product lines; drive mitigations and process improvements.
• Define and update the Quality Management System (QMS) and provide ISO 9001 training.
• Audit core processes to ensure compliance with customer requirements, Critical Loop procedures and ISO9001 standards.
• Drive corrective and preventive actions to address non-conformances and improve QMS.
• Oversee supplier qualification and monitor supplier performance.
