Job summary

Avgol, a global leader in non-woven fabrics for hygiene products, seeks a US Lab Supervisor in Mocksville, NC. You will lead the QC laboratory, train staff, and ensure safe, accurate testing and compliant records. Collaborate with QA, HR, and operations to drive process improvements and reliable product disposition decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or associate degree in a related field.
• 5+ years of manufacturing experience including 2+ years in a laboratory setting.
• Experience leading a department of 30+ employees.
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with SAP, Quality Windows (QW) and MS Teams.

Responsibilities

• Direct all laboratory activities, assign work, set priorities, and monitor daily responsibilities.
• Lead, coach, train, and develop Lab Technicians and QC personnel.
• Conduct performance reviews and address personnel matters in partnership with HR.
• Support recruiting, onboarding, and corrective action within policy.
• Collect, summarize, and analyze quality data to support root-cause investigations.
• Review COAs and lab results for accuracy and follow-up.
• Ensure equipment inspections and calibration per standards.
