Job summary

Avgol America Inc. is seeking a quality-focused technician to manage testing and data entry on the production line in North Carolina. You will receive turnover from the prior shift, continue testing, and enter results in QW while adhering to customer specifications.

The role requires accurate SAP and QW data entry, line audits for nonconformances, and coordination with supervisors. Willingness to cover shifts and assist training is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing quality testing.
• Familiarity with SAP data entry.

Responsibilities

• Receive turnover from previous shift and continue testing and/or DG as needed.
• Test master roll from line for adherence to customer specs and enter results in QW
• Enter data accurately in SAP and QW
• Perform line audits to check for nonconformance at the slitter and communicate out of spec (OOS) product to supervisor and/or manager
• Perform prep work for upcoming orders or next shift
• Follow trial instructions and test accordingly
• Determine if quality defects from slitter require downgrade
• Place suspect material on hold (restrict)
• Release product for transfer to warehouse depending on customer/product
• Communicate results of test to anyone needing to make adjustments
• Cover vacation and Call in days on other shifts
• Assist with training new techs
• Housekeeping
• Quality - Ensures quality by continually watching for any abnormality and reporting it timely manner
• Safety - follows company procedures and uses material and equipment per manufacturers' directions
• Other duties as assigned
