Job summary

LS Cable & System USA in Tarboro, NC is seeking a QA Lab Supervisor to lead the daily operations of the Quality Laboratory, ensuring tests are performed accurately, safely, and in line with customer specs and ISO 9001.

The role collaborates with Production, Engineering, and Quality Assurance to deliver timely results, oversee testing activities such as tensile, aging, moisture, and dimensional inspections, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of quality laboratory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Experience with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
• Experience in cable manufacturing or polymer testing is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily laboratory operations to ensure testing is completed safely, accurately, and on schedule.
• Assign and prioritize laboratory workload based on production requirements.
• Monitor laboratory performance, turnaround times, and testing capacity.
• Ensure proper staffing and cross-training of laboratory personnel.
• Develop and maintain laboratory work instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Review laboratory results for accuracy before release.
