Lead Quality Inspector
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Lead Quality Inspector for a precision manufacturing company in Marietta, GA. This is a great opportunity to join a stable, well-established company that specializes in producing high-quality machine parts for a variety of industries. In this role, you’ll be part of a collaborative team where quality and detail matter, with room to grow and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
Pay Rate
$20.00 -25.00 per hour , based on experience
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 6: 00 am to 2:30 pm.
Some overtime required
Lead Quality Inspector Duties and Responsibilities
• Perform and lead inspections of incoming, in-process, and finished parts .
• Ensure compliance with quality procedures and customer specifications .
• Record inspection data and support reporting for management review .
• Manage gage calibration and provide proper tools to machine operators .
• Train and mentor team members on inspection methods and quality standards .
• Collaborate with engineering and management on quality-related issues .
• Assist with audits, documentation, and process improvement initiatives .
• Additional related job duties as needed.
Lead Quality Inspector Qualifications and Requirements
• 3+ years of inspection experience in a manufacturing environment .
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience in quality control .
• Strong understanding of blueprints, GD&T, and inspection tools .
• Familiarity with gage calibration and SPC techniques .
• Excellent communication, organizational, and training skills .
• Drug screening and background check is required.
