We provide property owners and facility managers in-depth "Data-Driven" unbiased assessments and solutions in the management of their properties. PRS provides asset management design & engineering, bid management, project management, and roofing & building envelope consulting.

Position Overview:

The Roof Consultant Inspector is responsible for conducting thorough inspections on existing commercial roofs and properties, ensuring compliance with industry standards, roof system overviews, detailed analysis, and determination of deficiencies. The position requires frequent travel to job sites nationwide, collaboration with customer service teams, project managers, and building representatives to deliver detailed inspection reports and recommendations. This role also includes inspecting paving and building envelopes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct roof inspections on existing commercial properties.
2. Provide detailed reports on the following: Roofing age, roofing type, overview of roof, deficiencies within the roof system, budgeted numbers for repair/replacement.
3. Identify potential issues or defects and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
4. Collaborate with project managers, customer service representatives, and onsite teams to conduct inspections.
5. Provide feedback to the quality team for enhancing inspection processes and documentation standards.
6. Stay updated on industry standards and certifications relevant to roofing and construction quality, including but not limited to: moisture surveys, Registered Roof Observer certification, estimating, etc.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience in roofing, construction, or quality assurance, with knowledge of various roofing systems (e.g., TPO, PVC, Mod-Bit, BUR, Shingles, Metal).
2. Familiarity with industry standards, including NRCA, OSHA, and local building codes.
3. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
4. Ability to work independently and travel frequently to job sites.
5. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for interacting with project teams and preparing reports.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and inspection software.
7. A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to various project locations.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Certified Registered Roof Observer
2. 4+ Years Experience in the Roofing Industry
