Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking a Quality Engineering lead to drive proactive quality activities using FLIGHT DECK and Zero Defect Culture tools. You will guide teams from reactive defect management to preventative quality, leading core QE education, PFMEA, and process capability initiatives.

You will mentor in QC processes, read across opportunities, and ensure robust corrective actions with cross-functional teams. Relocation and a comprehensive benefits package are offered for this frontline role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in quality/engineering or related field with minimum 4 years aerospace or applicable industry experience.
• Minimum of 3 years quality experience in Aerospace or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead Quality Engineers in core QE responsibility education and training.
• Promote Zero Defect Culture support and lead expansion across MKG.
• Lead PFMEA analysis to create a living system of review, risk reduction and reassessment.
• Assist teams in process capability review and monitoring to find opportunities for process stability.
• Lead read across opportunities.
• Best practice leverage of quality tools and corrective actions to close opportunity gaps.
• MRB and eCAV review to improve first pass yield submittals.
• QEM and DSQR root cause corrective action assistance and closure management.
• DRB authorship to capture quality opportunities, wins and lessons learned.
