Job summary

Multisource Mfg is seeking a hands-on Quality Engineer in Longmont to mitigate risk and improve product and system quality. You will lead efforts in process capability, defect prevention, and cross-functional coordination with customers and suppliers.

The role requires a four-year technical degree (or a two-year degree with experience) and strong problem-solving skills, with familiarity in SPC, FMEA, GD&T, and control plans.

Qualifications

  • Must have regulated environment exposure (FDA, ISO, AS9100).
  • Familiar with SPC, GD&T, FMEA, DOE, Control Plans, qualification processes like IQ/OQ/PQ.
  • Understanding of manufacturing and assembly methods including metrology.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and communicate plans to drive a team approach.
  • Provide technical assistance on process capability, NPI, and defect detection/prevention.
  • Serve as site liaison to customers regarding quality problems and deviations.
  • Analyze failures and implement corrective actions using structured problem solving (8D).
  • Create and maintain Quality Plans and PFMEAs as required.
  • Develop inspection and sampling techniques to mitigate risk for new/old parts.
  • Ensure timely closure of quality issues with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support procedures and metrics to ensure products meet requirements.
