Job summary

Jabil is seeking a Quality Engineer to represent the quality function across global accounts. You will develop QA plans for new product introductions, support quoting in design phases, and evaluate inspection processes. You will also train teams, manage documentation, and drive corrective actions with suppliers and customers.

The role includes supervising quality technicians and inspectors, adhering to safety policies, and supporting process improvement initiatives in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Quality/Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years as a Quality Engineer in electronics manufacturing or similar industry.
• Experience with quality tools (PFMEA, PFDAI etc.) and Lean Six Sigma principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain QA plans and timeliness of global new product introductions.
• Provide support for quoting activities in design, development, and implementation phases.
• Evaluate inspection processes and provide guidelines.
• Develop and implement training for global processes.
• Manage document storage and review for global accounts.
• Coordinate corrective/preventative actions and track effectiveness.
• Maintain documentation and standardize processes across accounts.
• Interface with suppliers and customers on quality issues as needed.
• Supervise quality technicians and inspectors.
