Job summary

Jabil is seeking a Quality Engineer to represent the quality function of technical support across global customer accounts and act as a liaison between Jabil Circuit and suppliers or customers on quality issues. You will develop and maintain QA plans, participate in design and process development, evaluate inspection processes, and drive corrective/preventive actions.

A BS in related field and 3+ years in electronics manufacturing are required, with supervisory experience preferred.

Qualifications

3+ years as a Quality Engineer in electronics manufacturing or similar.
Experience with quality tools listed in the qualifications.
Supervisory or lead experience preferred.
Equivalents of education/experience accepted.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain QA plans for global new product introductions.
Support quoting activities by participating in process design and implementation phases.
Evaluate inspection processes and guidelines.
Develop and implement global training sessions for applicable functions.
Develop document storage and access systems for global accounts.
Review discrepancies and track corrective actions.
Standardize manufacturing processes for global accounts.
Provide technical quality support to customers as needed.
Supervise quality technicians and inspectors.
