Fidelity is seeking a Principal Software Quality Engineer in Westlake, TX to lead QE strategy for a multi-year modernization of Stock Plan Services. Qualifications

• 12-15 years’ experience predominantly in software test/ Quality Engineering.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a technology related field (Computer Science, Engineering, etc.) required.
• Experience in Agile development methodology and Jira tool.
• Deep expertise in Functional testing, regression testing and End-to-End testing.
• Experience in testing distributed applications at multiple layers of the technology stack.
• Hand-on experience in Test Management lifecycle.
• Strong working knowledge of relational databases (Oracle, DB2, Postgres) and PL/SQL.
• Strong experience in test automation design, development and execution using frameworks (RestAssured, Playwright, Karate, Cucumber, TestNG).
• Strong programming in Java/Spring Boot; strong SQL skills; JavaScript/TypeScript an advantage.
• CI/CD knowledge (GitHub, Maven, Jenkins, Docker, SonarQube).
• Experience with Azure/AWS cloud technologies, DevOps, CI/CD.
• Stock Plan Services/Brokerage exposure is a plus.
• Experience designing test strategies and automation suites for new products.
• Mainframe Cobol/JCL experience is a plus.
• Non-functional testing knowledge is preferred.

• Adopt modern testing tools and practices to advance automation capabilities.
• Lead complex cross-functional initiatives with planning and resource alignment.
• Influence technology and quality strategy through collaboration with leadership.
