JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to AS9100 standards, complete audits, and validate operational execution to internal quality management systems.
* Supplier Quality: Verify certifications of incoming raw materials, drive corrective actions for non-conformances, and partner with engineering for qualification efforts.
* Customer Quality: Ensure compliance to customer requirements, investigate customer complaints / drive closure to corrective action requests, complete customer quality system surveys & participate in customer audits.
* Manufacturing Quality: Ensure product conformity, oversee day to day inspection activities, establish part quality plans, maintain gauge calibration records, and partner with engineering on new part introductions.
* Continuous Improvement / Risk Mitigation: Collect / analyze data for KPIs, establish appropriate metrics / targets, identify and execute key projects to drive process improvement, and lead APQP / PPAP efforts.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelors in Engineering degree or equivalent OR
* 8+ years of equivalent shop experience
* Expertise within manufacturing quality & quality systems.
* Expertise within aerospace manufacturing quality & quality systems - with strong technical knowledge/acumen.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills - demonstrated leadership in cross-functional collaboration and problem solving.
* Strong knowledge/understanding of regulatory compliance (AS9100 standards, audits, and internal quality management systems)
* Strong technical acumen.
* Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional collaboration and problem solving.
* Ability to operate boundlessly with a customer- focused sense of ownership.
* Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Software (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook).
