Qualifications

• 8–10 years in quality control/QA in construction or heavy industry.
• 3–5 years in a leadership role supervising QC personnel.
• Strong knowledge of ASTM, AWS, ASME, API, AISC standards.
• Desirable certifications: ASQ CQM, AWS CWI, NACE.
• Ability to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive Quality Control Plan for projects.
• Lead QC inspectors and technicians; provide guidance and evaluations.
• Conduct inspections and audits to identify non-conformities.
• Oversee calibration and maintenance of QC equipment.
• Review ITPs, material submittals, and welding procedures.
• Investigate root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare NCRs and QC reports for management and clients.
• Liaise with clients, inspectors, and regulators.
• Ensure safety regulations are followed.
